Hiring a reputable professional who has years of specialized experience means everything. I'm sure this painter who said to the customer "Hey, I can do those floors for you" had good intentions, but now the customer is out additional time and money. We fixed them up and now they are gorgeous again. Heart pine in the highlands. Always beautiful. Before and afters.

This was a great and special project for a wonderful customer with an incredible vision.
A reclaimed barn from the 1800's rebuilt and repurposed as an incredible home on acreage. An attached cabin from the customer's childhood property serves as a master suite. Details everywhere, and almost everything with a story. A passionate project that the customer envisioned and collected materials and items for, for 2 decades. Proud to be a part of this one.

After completing some intricate repair work for Cave Hill Cemetery in their conference room, they approached me about building a "coffee cabinet" for their Keurig in the back hall. They wanted it to have a radius so as not to stick out as there were doorways on either side. I added open shelves for cups to be displayed openly. I was also able to use some mahogany reclaimed from a previous piece in the room. (Top was new) Same species as border- Quartersawn white oak, Mahogany, Walnut and maple. Fun project. The people at Cave Hill are great!!
P.s. I'm thinking this could be a good design for a "bourbon cabinet" for someone without a lot of space, and could be modified in many ways....js😁

Refinish and updated flooring and border. Before pics of a dreary and "orangy" floor and the border after we stained it and left the maple in the middle neutral. Customer wanted it to pop, and pop it does!!
