The work doesn’t stop at the front door.. With a property like this, elevation matters. New retaining walls, grading, and concrete steps are helping shape the landscape, manage the grade, and create a natural transition around the home.

It may not be the part of a renovation that gets photographed when everything is finished, but getting this work right is what makes the finished property work.

Sometimes the best design decision is to look up.

Progress continues at our Wappinger Falls renovation, and this wood ceiling is completely changing the feel of the upper level. With all of the angles in this space, the natural wood adds warmth and draws your eye through the room, while the recessed lighting keeps the finished look clean and understated.

There’s still work happening here, but this is the stage we love. The plans are becoming a home, and the details are starting to take over.

We’ve shared pieces of our West Shokan project along the way, but from up here, the vision really starts to come together.

Timber and steel framing, expansive windows, and a home designed to take full advantage of its surroundings. And then there’s that Catskills view.

Paint or no paint — which would you choose? Same beautiful hardware. Two completely different looks.
Painted cabinetry gives you that clean, polished finish, while natural wood brings warmth, character and lets the grain become part of the design. Team Paint or Team Natural Wood?

A new project has been underway in Ulster Park and it’s about time we show how this kitchen is getting a complete gut renovation.

This is one of those projects where the goal isn’t simply to replace cabinets and countertops. We’re reworking the space itself.

Demo is underway, walls have been opened up and we’re taking this kitchen back to the structure so we can rebuild it for the way the homeowners live today, while keeping the character that already makes this home special.

And there’s a lot of character here.☺️

The wood ceilings. The exposed beams. The stone. The natural light.

Those are the details worth working around, not covering up.

Follow along as this Ulster Park kitchen comes back together.

This is the point in a build when the plans on paper start becoming a home and you can finally stand inside it and see exactly why every window, roofline and room was placed where it was.

Building dreams… ✨
