What is that?! You probably see these types of “ponds” around town but aren’t sure what they are exactly. They are called bioretention basins. They’re an environmentally friendly, sustainable way to capture and treat stormwater runoff and we help construct them. So if you have any questions, we’d be happy to help answer them!

Seeking Heavy Equipment Operator / Full Time - Family operated sand/gravel recycling operation located five minutes from south side of Madison. Must have some experience with operating heavy equipment such as bulldozer, excavator, backhoe, loader, skidsteer and other mobile construction equipment. Knowledge of rock crushers and screen plants would be a bonus. Position would provide year round work.
Responsibilities: Operate, drive, and control heavy equipment. Have complete knowledge of machine settings. Check and maintain equipment functionality often. Keep performance records of machine functionality regularly. Provide preemptive maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunction. Comply with the company's safety policies and procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations of equipment. Perform minor repairs and report issues for larger repairs.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Have an up to date drivers license (CDL) is a bonus. Clean driving record. At least one year of experience running heavy equipment. MSHA certification is a bonus. Know how to repair and maintain equipment. Awareness of work place safety practices. Knowledge of both manual and electronic operations.
