I’m sure many people in our small community heard about Justin’s accident! Back in February, he was finished cutting a pine and on his way down the tree when his safety harness came off the tree and dropped him around 15-20 foot!
By the time we arrived to tifton they him fully scanned and said we would have to !be transferred to Macon! He had a burst fracture at his L2 and a broken piece of his vertebrae was laying over his spinal canal! Complete spinal occlusion is what the doctor told us.
Every doctor and surgeon that came in the room that Monday evening was amazed that he could still move his legs with his spinal cord occluded like it was!
They went right into discussion mode about the best way to go about surgery and started putting together a wonderful team to care for him! On Wednesday morning February 11th, they came in to get him for surgery preparing us for him to be paralyzed after surgery, but God came by and held the surgeons hand!
The surgeon called me after a 5.5 hour surgery and he said “ We’ve been monitoring his spinal function the entire surgery and it’s perfect! 🙌🙌
God came by!
At Justin’s 4 week appointment they told us Justin was a 1% chance of walking and functioning like he is after his injury!
No one can ever tell us God isn’t real or that He doesn’t still heal!
Justin is a living walking testimony! 🙌
With that being said- we are so thankful for this crane and how it’s allowing for some work to be completed after our customers have been incredibly patient with us! Thank you friends for your prayers through this time as well.
We are praying Justin is cleared for work soon so he can get back to doing what he loves at full capacity.
