The past week we have been Smith-Built Roofing, Windows & Flooring:). I reached out to a couple people to sub-contract and nobody responded, so I told my crew that we’re doing it ourselves, as I considered this situation as an emergency. All plywood had to be replaced due to a rotten sub-floor, so the entire area was gutted to redo the kitchen .

And to illustrate how particular I am, there was either an issue with manufacturing or handling (not by us) that caused damaged flooring pieces to pop up.

Yesterday, after I inspected progress, I made the decision to have the guys remove and redo areas where I saw imminent issues. This cost us a few hours of work, but this is how I do business. If I’m not satisfied, you’re not satisfied.

We treat all jobs equally. Everyone receives the same reliable, high-quality service no matter if it’s a roof repair, roof installation, siding, construction—all of it.

My office is closed today due to interior construction and remodeling. My office is last, but we got the sign up and now you cannot miss us at 120 S. Grant Street! Just a few more days and we should all be within normal operations!

At this time, Scott is only going to be working 1/2 days.

Smith-Built Roofing will be closed today, Friday 10/9-Monday 10/12 for me to tend to Scott and to interior construction inside our offices.

The good news is that Phase 1 of office construction/remodel should be near complete by then! No more carpet and the place smells absolutely amazing already!

When we are finished we will have a full showroom of our roofing materials as well. I’ve been working on that behind the scenes.

Smith-Built Roofing offices will be closed today. I had dental surgery this morning and I have Scott at emergency room with pneumonia, per doctor’s orders.

Scott has had pneumonia for a month now—please pray for my guy, he means everything to me.
