Our flight may have been delayed, and this post may be a little late, but the conversations, connections, and laughs were right on time!

Last week, the Violet Plumbing team had the opportunity to tour McGough’s beautiful new office, and what a view! The room was filled with industry partners, great conversations, and some incredible project stories that remind us just how much collaboration and craftsmanship go into the work we do every day.

From hearing about millwork partners tackling some impressive projects to meeting new trade partners, and. Bit of strong man competitions 😂🤣💪, one message came through loud and clear: Contractors like McGough set the standard for building strong relationships across the construction industry.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: the McGough team understands that successful construction goes beyond plans, schedules, and job sites. It’s about people, trust, communication, and a shared commitment to delivering quality. Their approach to lean leadership, operational excellence, and partnership is evident in the work they do and in the culture they’ve built.

What stood out most was the hospitality. Every McGough team member we encountered, whether we knew them or not, took the time to shake our hands and make us feel welcome. That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through intentional leadership and a genuine appreciation for the people who help bring each project to life.

We know that strong trade partnerships are the foundation of successful projects, and we’re grateful to be part of a construction community that values collaboration as much as craftsmanship.

Here’s to building great projects, stronger partnerships, and lasting relationships.

May the doors at McGough always stay open, the partnerships keep growing, and the drinks stay cold!🍻

⛳️☀️ What a beautiful day on the greens! ☀️⛳️
Violet Plumbing had an incredible time at the Hoar Construction Golf Classic at Twin Creeks Country Club, and we’re coming away with full hearts, great memories, and maybe just a few fewer golf balls than we started with! 🏌️‍♀️
Most importantly, it was a privilege to be part of an event supporting Blood Cancer United and the important work they do to fund lifesaving research, provide support and information to patients and families, and advocate for better access to care. It’s always refreshing to step away from the jobsite and be reminded that the relationships we build in this industry can make an impact far beyond the projects we work on together. 💜
One of the best parts of days like this is getting to catch up with old friends and make new ones. There’s something pretty special about seeing familiar faces, shaking hands with people you haven’t seen in a while, and leaving the course knowing you’ve added a few more good people to the circle.
A very special THANK YOU to Austin Arnett and Mark Candela for joining the Violet team for our four-person scramble! We had a great time having y’all on the team. We may have lost a considerable number of golf balls to the forest 🌲😂, but thankfully, we gained even more jokes and memories along the way!
And to the entire HOAR Construction team—thank you for putting on another meaningful and memorable event. Your team’s willingness to use your platform to support organizations and programs like Blood Cancer United is truly admirable and is one of the many reasons we love working alongside your firm.
At Violet, we believe that building strong communities is just as important as building strong projects. We’re grateful for partners who share that belief and continue to create opportunities for all of us to give back.
Here’s to great causes, beautiful days, good friends, new friends, and golf balls that hopefully find their way out of the trees next time! ⛳️

Thank you, HOAR, for another great day! 💜

Good friends. Great partners. A little friendly competition. And a whole lot of giving back! 🎯
The Violet Plumbing team had an absolute blast getting together for Clays for the Community! There’s something special about stepping away from the jobsite, enjoying some time together, and—most importantly—being part of something that gives back to the community we’re so proud to be a part of.

We are incredibly thankful to our partners at Skanska for inviting Violet to join this special event. Relationships like these are about so much more than the work we do together—they’re about building a community where we can support one another and make a difference beyond the jobsite.

And we have to give a HUGE thank-you to our friends at Texas Plumbing Supply for coming out and supporting us! Having great partners alongside us makes days like this even more meaningful—and definitely makes the competition a little more fun! 🎯

At Violet, we believe that giving back is part of building something bigger than ourselves. We are grateful for every opportunity to bring our team together, strengthen our relationships, support great causes, and be part of something that leaves our community a little better than we found it.

Thank you, Skanska, for letting Violet be part of such a meaningful day, and thank you, Texas Plumbing Supply, for showing up and making it even better!

From the Violet team to yours—thank you for letting us be part of the fun, the fellowship, and the giving back. 💜

Growing With West Texas 🚧🔧

We’re proud to share that we’ve been awarded the new 6-story Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the heart of historical downtown Midland, Texas.

As Midland continues to experience incredible growth, we’re grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the development happening right here in West Texas. Our footprint continues to grow, and that growth is made possible by great companies, strong partnerships, and customers who continue to recommend our work.

For us, every project is an opportunity to deliver a quality package from start to finish. We’re eager to get to work on this one and bring the same level of craftsmanship, communication, and commitment that our partners have come to expect from us.

Midland is growing—and we’re proud to grow with it.

Great things are always happening at Violet Plumbing! 💜
This week, Violet is proud to partner with the PHCC to help teach and inspire the next generation of plumbers at Ferris High School. Help us root on these high school students as they compete against other districts across Texas in the PLUMB PERFECT competition! 🛠️👏
Our very own Richard Valdez Jr. is mentoring these young men and women as they learn what it takes to take a plumbing project from start to finish—from rough-in to installing fixtures. They are learning how to read plans, lay out plumbing systems, understand plumbing code, troubleshoot, and so much more.

“Teach someone the craft, give them the confidence to carry it forward, and you’ve built more than a skilled worker—you’ve built a legacy.”

At Violet, we believe the future of our industry depends on what we are willing to teach today. We are proud to invest our time, knowledge, and experience into these students and give them an opportunity to see what a career in the skilled trades can become.

Let’s go, future plumbers! 💜🔧 We’re rooting for you!

Great work starts with great people. At Violet, we truly appreciate the teams who lay the groundwork for our success.
It may be a little gloomy here in Texas, but not enough to rain on Violet’s parade. We’re proud and grateful to have been selected as the commercial plumbing contractor for the Southwestern University Football Athletic Field House—home of the Pirates. 🏴‍☠️
Looking forward to seeing this project come to life. Let’s go, Captain!💪🚧
