Earlier today an elderly couple in Bartholomew County placed a call to dispatch requesting assistance.

The caller’s furnace had quit functioning, however the home had a secondary wood fire furnace. The caller advised they had wood in their barn but were unable to get it themselves.

These three deputies went to the residence and assisted in getting the wood to them. Sheriff Chris Lane would like to recognize these deputies for their service. This is going above and beyond to serve the citizens of Bartholomew County!
