Getting ready to replace a beam and fix up some dry rot in a less then tall crawlspace. Not every job is the most exciting, but every job has something to be happy about! You could say a positive outlook is our standard. Remember, just standards, no shortcuts!

This house was COOKING! This new construction home only had a couple pieces of ridge vent for these long runs of ridge. Bottlenecking the trapped heat inside the attic and cooking the house! We fixed this by cutting the along the ENTIRE RIDGE! Then installed Certainteed's Shingle Vent II... (That's the good stuff). Not opening the ridge is a mistake we never make on our jobsites, cause we have Just Standards, No Shortcuts!

Last year this homeowner wasn't quite sure how they wanted to tackle this dentil moulding detail during our gutter installation job on there front porch. This year, they decided restoration work was too pricey and asked if we could cap it all off and install a new gutter... so we got to work! We know it's not as detailed as the old dentil moulding, but we did manage to compliment the original work by keeping the miter details. All while closing off the whole area from water and air infiltration properly. They are very happy with the work and are thrilled to no longer have water damaging there home. Remember, Just Standards, No Shortcuts!!!

Looking over some of our more interesting work today! We love installing decks, but sometimes you need a little more then that! Here we used Acrylab Walk-Pad and Trex Transcend railing to remodel this homeowners porch. What set this one aside was the homeowner asked if I could stain the pressure treated so it wouldn't stand out so much from the rest. I personally emjoy the look of it. Looking over some of our more interesting work today! We love installing decks, but sometimes you need a little more then that!
