🔐 Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Week 3 — Passwords & Multi-Factor Authentication
At Weinstein Electric, protecting our team and our customers’ information is part of doing business right. This week we’re focusing on two of the simplest, most effective defenses against cyberattacks: strong passwords and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
A few quick reminders:
✅ Use long, unique passwords for every account — a passphrase is easier to remember and harder to crack than a short, complex password
✅ Never reuse the same password across multiple sites
✅ Turn on MFA wherever it’s offered — it’s one of the single best ways to stop a stolen password from turning into a breach
✅ Use a password manager instead of writing passwords down or reusing old ones
