Meet the team: Rachel Mathews

Rachel has been part of the Thomas Excavation team for over a year as a Laborer & Operator, and she brings grit, determination, and a whole lot of personality to every job site!

Rachel is direct, assertive, and isnā€™t afraid to stand her ground. She holds herself and the team to high standards and makes sure the job gets done right. Whether sheā€™s operating equipment or tackling a tough job in the field, you can count on Rachel to bring the energy and get it done.

Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with her kids, reading, art, and music. And if thereā€™s one season made for her, itā€™s fall. She loves Halloween, Halloween movies, and a good thunderstorm.

Weā€™re grateful to have Rachelā€™s hard work, strong personality, and dedication as part of the Thomas Excavation crew!

Meet the Thomas Excavation Crew: Lucas Barclay

Lucas is currently Foreman in Training at Thomas Excavation and brings plenty of hard work, a good sense of humor, and a little extra fun to the job site.

Lucas and Wyatt have been good friends for more than 7 years, making him a natural fit for the Thomas Excavation crew. When heā€™s not working, youā€™ll usually find him enjoying motorcycles or spending time with his girlfriend, Rachel, and his son, Hudson.

Weā€™re glad to have Lucas as part of the team and look forward to watching him continue to grow with Thomas Excavation!

A recent water main break had a local business needing help FAST. Our crew was on site within 2 hours, worked through the night, and had the business back open within 7 hours.
