Is Your Roof Fighting a Freeze-Out? Watch Out for Ice Dams!
Ice dams aren't just big, nasty icicles—they're a serious threat that can leak water into your ceilings, walls, and attic!

The good news? You can spot them safely from the ground.

Here’s what the pros at Ideal Roofing LLC want you to look for right now:

3 Signs You Have an Ice Dam Problem
The Ice Ridge: Look at the edge of your roof. Do you see a thick, solid band of ice built up along the fascia or overflowing your gutters? That ridge is the dam, and it's holding water back!

Uneven Snow Melt: Your whole roof should be covered in snow (if it recently snowed). If you see the snow melting off the main part of the roof but staying frozen at the very edge (the overhang), that means heat is escaping your house and melting the snow—which then refreezes into an ice dam!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, 🦈 Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water,... Winter is splashing back onto the shores of Flint! 🌊
Forget your weekend plans—this Saturday, Mother Nature is trading in her snorkel for a snow shovel and throwing a massive snow party!

The Main Event: A significant winter storm is heading our way, starting Saturday afternoon.

The Treasure: We're expecting 4 to 8 inches of fluffy white treasure! It will be coming down the hardest after the sun goes down on Saturday and into Sunday morning.
