FBi Construction is incredibly proud to honor one of our own, Major Kacy Gunter P.E., who has been deployed to the Middle East with the 117th Engineer Brigade since the fall of 2025. He’s played an instrumental role in overseeing the planning, design, and construction of military projects throughout CENTCOM. While we miss Kacy’s leadership and expertise on our projects, we deeply respect the dedication and sacrifice required to balance a civilian career with military service. As Kacy serves overseas, our prayers and continued support are also with his family here at home.
Thank you for your service, Major Gunter, and for your unwavering commitment to protecting our country. We look forward to your safe return!

FBi Construction recently completed phase 1 of the Francis Marion University Founders Hall and Cauthen Educational Media Center project two weeks ahead of schedule. This 85,000 sf Design/Build renovation project will help bring two of FMU’s earliest campus buildings (constructed in 1974 & 1977 respectively) to current higher education standards. We are thankful for the hard work and dedication of all of the team members who have a hand in expediting this project as well as the continued partnership with FMU. We are looking forward to again, exceeding client expectations on the next two phases of construction!

FBi Construction is excited to again partner with Marlboro County on their new state of the art Aquatics Center. The long-term impacts this facility will have on the local community cannot be overstated. The leaders of Marlboro County should be commended for having the vision to see the life changing effects that will result from not only kids having the opportunity to learn to swim but also the positive family experiences and memories that will be made for generations to come.
