Water coming down the wall is never a good sign.

That's what was happening at Hidden Treasures on Huntsville Road in Florence. Their ductless units kept leaking, needed Freon added repeatedly, and would freeze up until water started running down the wall.

Our solution? Replace the units and get things back on track.

We're installing new Mitsubishi ductless split units, along with new copper line sets and drain lines to get everything working as it should.

As Tim Hopson, our General Manager, puts it, "Everything is going to look great."

Temperatures are dropping in the Shoals this weekend. Is your heat ready?

Switch your thermostat to heat and let your system run before the colder weather settles in.

The first time your heat kicks on for the season, you may notice a burning smell, especially with a gas furnace. This is often caused by dust burning off the heating elements after months without use. It's usually normal and should go away after a short time.

The atrium at the Kennedy-Douglas Center is all glass with very little airflow. Trying to cool that space with the building's main system wasn't going to be the most efficient solution.

So we gave the room its own unit.

A mini split keeps the atrium comfortable without running the larger system just to cool one space. That means more targeted comfort and less energy used to cool areas that don't need it.

That's what an HVAC evaluation is for. We look at how each space is used, how it gains and loses heat, and what it actually needs to stay comfortable.

That's Tim, our General Manager, out on a service call.

Sometimes, taking care of a customer means taking care of more than the HVAC system.

During a winter service visit, our team noticed that the customer's water hydrant needed a cover. So instead of simply leaving it, we went the extra mile and installed one.

It's a small thing, but it's part of how we approach every service call. We pay attention to the details and look for ways to help, even when it's outside the usual scope of the job.
