WE WERE AT IT AGAIN — HELPING ANOTHER NEIGHBOR SAVE THOUSANDS

A neighbor needed several tree problems handled before selling their home, including a dead tree leaning over the house with a large portion directly above the roof; it had two sperate trunks (sister tree sharing on main trunk/stump) The first sisters tree was cut and fallen easily. The other (in the photo) had to be done safely and with extreme caution.

Instead of using a climber, crane, or expensive rigging, we used our tractor, chain, and a controlled cutting process.

✅ Tree safely down in about 15 minutes

YESTERDAY, WE SAVED TWO NEIGHBORS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS — ON TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT JOBS.

We continue to say it: before you pay thousands of dollars for tree removal and property cleanup, get several estimates and compare exactly what you are getting for your money.

JOB #1 — COMPLETE PROPERTY CLEANUP

This property had numerous downed trees, previously cut tree debris, branches, limbs, trunks, and piles that had been left behind. The owners needed the property cleaned up and prepared for sale.

They did the right thing and got several estimates. As usual, there were extremely high estimates, a very low-ball estimate, and then ours.

Here is what we actually completed:

We cleared the property of downed trees, branches, limbs, trunks, and tree debris.

We completely loaded TWO 20-cubic-yard dumpsters to the brim and beyond, provided by Junk Yard Dogs Junk Removal, the company we use for our clients.

While the first dumpster was being emptied and returned, we kept working.

We:
• Removed and ground an old existing stump surrounded by new growth
• Knocked down two dead trees, including the roots
• Cleaned up additional debris
• Graded an entire damaged area where a previous contractor had gotten a large truck stuck and left deep ruts behind without returning to repair the yard

TOTAL TIME: 2 HOURS

Tractor and crew: $1,200
Two 20-yard dumpsters: $500 TOTAL

TOTAL PROJECT COST: $1,700

The owners received an enormous amount of work in only two hours and saved thousands of dollars compared with other options.

JOB #2 — LARGE TREE REMOVAL IN A TIGHT LOCATION

The second job involved a large sister tree growing from one main trunk.

The main trunk measured approximately 40 inches in diameter at ground level, with two large sections measuring approximately 14 and 16 inches in diameter and about 35 feet tall.

The tree was located in a difficult corner between the house and carport, requiring both sections to be brought down with a carefully controlled fall.

Both trees came down exactly where planned without touching the house or carport.

We then:

• Cut the trees down
• Cut up all the wood and debris
• Loaded a full 20-cubic-yard dumpster
• Ground the stump and root area, approximately 48 inches wide
• Backfilled the stump area when finished

TOTAL TIME: 1 HOUR

Yesterday, we completed this entire job in ONE HOUR.

🌳 Removed a diseased tree approximately 22 inches in diameter and 35 feet tall
