The Rez remodel is done, just in time for summer on the lake

Like most construction projects, once we opened everything up, we uncovered several issues that couldn’t be seen from the outside. Framing underneath skylight windows extensive rot and needed to be completely replaced to make sure this porch was structurally sound for years to come.

We replaced all damaged framing with new lumber, properly sealed and flashed every window and transition, then wrapped everything with durable fiber cement siding before painting.

A lot of the most important work on projects like this is the part you never see!
