Your air filter is the first line of defense against dust, pet hair and debris. When it becomes clogged—or isn’t changed regularly that buildup can collect directly on the evaporator coil, just like you see here.

A dirty coil restricts airflow and forces your system to work harder, which can lead to:

• Reduced cooling
• Higher power bills
• Longer run times
• Frozen coils and water problems
• Costly cleaning and premature system failure

Check your filter monthly and replace it whenever it’s dirty. Most homes need a new filter every 30–90 days, but homes with pets or heavy system use may need changes more often.

A simple filter change can help keep your system from looking like this!

Just a few “minor” ductwork repairs today! 😅

Out with the old, damaged ductwork and in with properly sized, sealed connections and new registers. Even small duct issues can lead to lost airflow, uneven temperatures, higher energy bills, and extra strain on your system.

We truly have the greatest customers!

We’re currently working on a new construction project for a new customer who completely understands that, during this Alabama heat, we’re often needed in 12 places at once. Getting families’ systems back up and running or replaced remains our highest priority.

It has been a Good summer having my daughter working with me, today she goes back to school and Im definitely going to miss having my side kick with me. She has made my days alot easier to get through, with getting to hang out and work everyday with her! She is definitely a hard worker, now she will sleep inbetween jobs in the van ha! 💯 reminds me of me when I was her age working for other companies. I Thank God for a Daughter that loves to hang out with her Parents. Spend time with your kids, they grow up fast, treat them with respect and they will treat you with respect. Were a woman down today at Fields cooling and Heating and were feeling it. I love this girl more than anything and greatful for this summer. Yall have a good day and if you have any Hvac needs give us a call.

With the heat index this past workweek, our team was put to the test but more importantly, our customers stayed cool, comfortable, and taken care of when they needed it most.

It took the entire crew Jerry, Matt, David, Chris, Damien, and Gary to make sure no customer was left waiting in the Alabama heat. From urgent service calls that restored cooling fast, to full system changeouts that brought homes back to comfort, to ductwork that improved airflow and efficiency we focused on real solutions that made an immediate difference for the people who rely on us.

When a critical control board was needed, we didn’t hesitate to drive to Pensacola to get it and get a system back up and running. Because when a customer is without cooling, every minute matters.

We take pride in being a team our customers can count on responsive, reliable, and committed to getting the job done right the first time.
