Hey fam!!  it has been a while - Facebook decided I wasn’t old enough to run a business page and if you really know my mom, you know how terrible she is at the phone and because social media must be ran from your phone…  I’m going to be logging in on my mom’s page so I can manage the Chore Cowboy, and reply to everyone’s messages and comments!

So what’s new ?! I started the seventh grade and Harpers started 4K today!  I made the football team and Harper thinks she made the cheerleading squad(moms the water boy)!

We are still here working (mostly mom)  but I still have regular yards that I mow and tend to the gardena! Even if I’m not physically there due to the bologna of not getting out of school until 4 PM I am always asking mom how everybody is and I’m always thinking about what plants would look nice at what house!

Moms been doing a lot of craziness - taking down a brick wall , installing her first pvc fence ,
Removing tons and tons of Ivy at several houses , ramp and toy box building for the church, taking down a few trees, cleaning out storage buildings and installing gutters-

What’s new with you guys!? Ps moms phone is again on the outs- her speakers are shot and the keyboard is a gamble so if you’ve been reaching out she’ll get back in touch when her new phone comes or if her current t phone decides to work!

It’s me!! So I gave up social media for lint (and we all know how terrible mom is at the phone)
Life update over last 40 days!! I turned 12 and completed my third semester of middle school. I still do not like being in school until 4 o’clock. The time has been the biggest change for me and the hardest. Now that it stays lighter longer, I have been able to do some mowing jobs.! Harper has had a go with her ears and catching all the germs but she’s still the same old sassy GC! As for mom- she exhaust me and I can’t keep up .  her and Harper whelped and raised our final litter of labrador puppies. She has mastered garden box building, and has started five Gardens.!  she said she’s going to find who’s yard is the most bountiful and cover it with veggies! She augured some REALLY clogged drains at BEthel, hauled off all the sludge and then reinforced the playground wall!  she’s been doing a lot of spring pressure washing and I don’t know what else im forgettimg that she has done while I have focused on my studies but if you know my mom, I’m sure there’s 200 other things she’s been doing… Everything except for answering the phone 🤭

It is spring break and I’m excited to see some of you guys as I’m able to get out and work some. Mom has to go to MUSC tomorrow for her skin stuff so starting Tuesday we will be at it all day! Let me know if there is anything  I can do for you or if you need a garden box you know where to

We (mainly mom) I’ve been staying really busy. We’ve done some pressure washing. Mom spent the morning cleaning out some gutters and will finish that up tomorrow. She also has built half a dozen raised garden boxes and  her and Harper have been growing vegetables for each one of them check out the broccoli they’re growing but she’s basically forcing a handful of our regular people to start their own guardians this year. I’m sure she’ll do the majority of the work but she feels that food is too expensive for everyone not to grow I think in reality she’s trying to find who has the most bountiful soil!

Y’all need to take them so we can see them often and so mom doesnt have to deal with the people of the world who don’t like her requirements for our pups! To most of us this is a willow tree but to one couple this is a reminder of love and life.
Mom spends a lot of time on Sylvan Avenue and honestly, I think she wishes we lived there but anyhow through her time there she’s gotten to know a lot of the neighbors. She was asked her opinion on a willow tree that stood in one neighbors, front yard. This willow tree was a gift to her from her late son. Mom studied all about the weeping willow, took the soil to be tested and made it her mission to get this tree healthy but we came to the conclusion that it was not receiving enough sunlight, and due to the cold weather and the tree, not being as strong as it can be, we didn’t want to relocate it. A little while ago mom was told some sad news that the same family had another very sad loss. Mom got beaten to the punch on taking dinner to the family but wanted to do something so they knew they were in our thoughts and prayers. Mom talked it over with the Sylvan crew and decided to gift this family, a willow tree for a spot that uwe had just cleared in her backyard, a nice sunshiny spot. Mom and I had to pull out some rebar and worked hard at it but we got this willow tree in the ground. Mostly mom as I thought it was too cold to work today.  Now she has one  in both her front and backyard as a special reminder to those near and dear to their family that are no longer with us
I’ll really liked being a part of this with mom and I know my mom will always find work for us because she will always think of someway to make someone’s day brighter and it’s a lot of fun for Harper and I to get to do with her, we were able to turn something sad into something a little bit sweet and it was a gift from all the neighbors and us
 it made for a wonderful start to our weekend. I hope everyone is staying warm today.

Before and after! What a way to end the year ! This year has taught me so much and has been very special to our family, we have worked together as a family on many projects, mom has found a new passion, dad  has mastered fence routing and tall limb chopping, Harper is the only 4 year old i know who can identify a chainsaw and a level and I have mastered w**d and plant identification
 I am super excited for 2023 and mom and I have already changed some things to make the year smoother and our schedule more consistent, we will have set days of the week for our regular favorites , one weekly “make up/catch up day” and one weekday for new clients - so for instance- every Monday we’ll be at the Saviz ,the first and third Tuesday of the month will be at our Slyvan clan and our good old Merrells! Every wednesday late afternoon is for mama Susan! wednesday mornings will be reserved for our monthly people! The second and fourth Tuesday mornings will be for our two VA houses etc
If you guys have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. I’m super excited for this year because Mom and I have acquired every landscaping tool known to man from an 18 foot pole saw to weighted ropes for those tall limbs to a bush hog!
I’m super thankful for every job and lesson this year but most importantly, I’m thankful for the people that 2022 brought into our lives. You guys  brought so much education and inspiration into our household and I know kept my mom’s mind busy when she was undergoing a scary health situation. I don’t know what 2023 has in store for the Chore cowboy but whatever it maybe  I know the relationships we made this year will never fade

I’m on Christmas break! Starting middle school has been tough on me! I do not like getting out of school at 4 PM by the time I get home and do my homework it’s dark out. I want to work as much as I can during the break. We’ve been busy so far securing gardens and plants for the winter storm today! I hope everyone is safe and if you need any help let us know!!

I am a day late but help me celebrate my mama, her birthday was yesterday but Harper is really sick with RSV and kept her up till 5 AM on a steroid! In true mom fashion she asked for tools for her birthday so she now is the proud owner of a lawn vacuum which sucks up leaves, pine straw, and pinecones and she hasn’t put it down since she got it!  merrell spoiled her with lululemon and cupcakes and came to hang out with her, Linus and river and Miss Ginger and Mr. Michael spoiled her with a sweet card and a gift card to Tazza, mrs Karen spoiled her with the coolest gamecock yard art which is officially good luck, Ma got her new running shoes and a cake! Harpie got her a new Brad Nailer which Harper thought was for your finger nails and had a meltdown today when she learned otherwise and she got to see Stormie from our second litter and Mrs Burger yesterday and they spoiled her with a Home Depot gift card, I got her a new work light which I think might be enabling so if you look outside and you feel like you’re at a football game just know it’s mom and her new work light set up working in the dark!  she’s already using it tonight to clean out a Koi pond! She received lots of calls and text but she still is going through them because Harpers been extra clingy and won’t let her be on the phone. We will be going to see Mr. Wilson tomorrow to do a little cleanup and then Mom is finishing a privacy wall, and a double entrance gate and trimming some trees i’m sure 800 other things that I don’t know about. I’m so thankful for the chore cowboy and mom with a chainsaw and all the wonderful people that it put into our lives I don’t think it was an accident that we got into this. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and just know we are all so thankful for each one of yoy !

Mom has had lights up since the first week of November and harper has been wearing Christmas outfits every day since. They have now dressed the HALLOWEEN skeletons as buddy the elf and elf of the shelf and Harper is the bunny from a Christmas story. And they keep adding things to the decorations so I need them to get out of the house. If you need any help hanging lights or picking up your Christmas tree or building your gifts or picking up anything.. or putting up anything please let these two know.. moms birthday is Friday and she wants to work lol go
Figure .. I might just pay somebody to come up with something so they get out of the house!!!  Harpers calling this little gig the Christmas cowboy and says it’s her turn!
