**Hardins Drug in Caroleen 221A is up and running. HOWEVER please take your script bottle or tag in since the power for their system may be intermittent.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Avondale) has supplies and we have been unloading them today. Mainly people are needing water. (Persons on well systems with no electricity cannot draw water) (Some wells have had surface water contamination and are not, as of now, safe to draw.)
*** The "trash dump" on Ellenboro Henrietta Road has power and is now operating and has opened on today Wednesday a normally closed day.

***Basics Ministries FOOD PANTRY will be open Thursday, October 3 from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Haynes Branch Library is open and has wi fi, public computers and charging stations. Hours are 10-5 or maybe 10-6. 828 288 4039

The auto teller at First Citizens and the traffic light in Henrietta had no power today. It was operating in the past but is down now. Treat it like a four way stop. The first vehicle that come to a complete stop has the right of way. If there is a "tie" for the complete stop right away proceeds to the right.

Now may be a good time to read with your kids or grand kids or play uno or go fish or a board game. This will assist with reading and math skills they are currently missing in school.
