LANDSCAPING LABOR JOB OPENING

Are you passionate about the great outdoors and skilled in the art of landscaping? We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking landscaper laborer to join our team and contribute to the beautification of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:
-Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscapes, including planting, mulching, watering and fertilizing
-Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
-Perform general landscaping duties including sod laying, irrigation system installation and repair, and hardscape construction
-Collaborate with team members to ensue efficient completion of landscaping projects
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment


Requirements:
-Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
-Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools
-Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Does Duke Energy reimburse for food loss or other loss caused by a storm?
Food loss or other storm-related loss is one of the many unfortunate occurrences in cases of extreme weather, such as a hurricane. Unfortunately, Duke Energy cannot assume responsibility for spoiled food or other losses caused by a storm, as extreme weather is beyond our control. But don’t despair. While there is no need to file a claim with our Duke Energy insurer, you should check with your individual insurer and/or FEMA regarding loss claims.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaper Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of landscapers in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers in performing landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement tasks.
-Ensure all projects are completed efficiently and according to established standards.
-Provide directions and guidance to crew members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and tools to perform their task effectively.
-Oversee the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and safety.
-Demonstrate a strong understanding of different landscape components, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation systems, and sod installation.
-Assess project requirements and develop work plans to meet client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
-Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
