Some faceless entity, apparently with META, called "Kacper Graf XD" says the Lost Wax Records page will be shut down, because of a copyright issue. I bet its because I didn't pay to use an image that some billionaire had bought for some other billionaire. I usually try to only use images that have been reproduced in different formats at least three times before. That was the old rule, anyway, for keeping image users safe, and i think its still valid in terms of Fair Use, but it doesn't really matter. This site has not long to live. But I'll use all other social media sites i can to let you all know when it's happening. Til then, stay Hydrated, and rage against the machine! Also, back up anything you care about saving. Love!

Hey everybody! my band The Carotids are playing tomorrow at the Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival in Forest Grove! The event starts at 8am, and we'll probably start around 3pm, near the intersection of Main and 21st. There will be other bands playing throughout the day, and lots of art being created everywhere you go, so you can't help but be intellectually stimulated. It's kinda revolutionary in that way! Bring the kids! Hope to see you getting your Artemisia Gentileschi on!

ALERT: SALE CANCELED! Some sweet dude bought all my records! So Sorry Folks!

Yeah, it was kinda crazy, but all that vinyl has moved on to greener pastures. Special thanx goes out to my friend Steve who helped pull out all the record tubs this morning, and to my sweetheart Amber who made trips to take down all the signage that I had just put out an hour before.

That said, I'll try to do some music-related sale in the near future, cuz i still have quite a few cds, tapes, records, mostly 45s, and such, so stay connected. It may happen in August. Thanks for your support, and again, sorry the end it early.

Calling all Vinyl freaks! It's Skip from Lost Wax! It's been a busy year, but my back has finally healed, the weather's nice, and I still have a ton of vinyl, and bringing out lots of newer offerings from way back in the bowels of the storage unit. The sale is in my front yard, across the street from St. Bedes’ church parking lot, Elm Street near 16th ave, in Forest Grove, this Saturday, sept 9th, 10 am to 5pm. The bulk of records are under $3, some as cheap as a buck, some a little higher. This is a somewhat ongoing clearance sale, from my years of collecting and having had a shop at one point. So most stuff is in pretty good shape. I want this vinyl to move, so please make offers. Buy a whole tub! Fair offers will be considered, haggling is welcome. Tell your friends, bring out the whole family. Look for the signs, as they should be out. It's the yard with all the grey tubs. See you Saturday!!

It's directly across the street from St. Bedes Church parking lot, on Elm Street, in Forest Grove...The bulk of records are under $3, though some things are a little more than that. This is really a clearance sale, this stuff has gotta go...Make offers, and I'll most likely make it so. Tell your friends, bring the whole family...If you came out saturday, there will be several new tubs out. There will probably be some signs out, with an arrow, but just in case...it's the yard with all the grey tubs. The house is yellow. See you there!
