Here's a practical solution for steep corners on residential properties where lawn maintenance is no longer desired. The initial objective for this residence was to eliminate the need for retaining walls through backfilling. After years of attempting to maintain these areas, we ruled out retaining walls and instead utilized outcropping stone to prevent erosion and grade transition. On the side with the most foot traffic, natural stone steps were installed to present safer and easier access to the firepit.

Due to a busy summer in 2024, I ran out of time to keep our followers informed about our projects. However, with winter drawing to a close, I will start sharing some of the projects we undertook last year. These included driveway installations, resurfacing, and culvert replacements. A well-designed base and proper grading for drainage are essential for the durability and strength of any driveway, regardless of its application.

Got tree damage? We have equipment and chainsaws available for your non-emergency tree clean up needs. Landscaping looks to be put on hold a few days and plowing should be completed today, leaving a few days open to clean up if you need us.

Seeking a motivated individual to join our team. Main duties would include: operating zero turn mowers, using string trimmers and leaf blowers with an occasional opportunity to do miscellaneous landscaping tasks. 40 Hrs per week, occasional opportunity for overtime. Starting pay at $15-$25 an hour based on experience. Most of our mowing accounts are commercial; resorts, condos etc. Come lay some stripes and help make Door County a beautiful a place!

After a new deck was built last year, next on the list was to update the fire pit area. I’d say it was a good decision! Unilock Westport pavers take the cake on this one 🤩

Ephraim project is complete! This patio and wall project is made with 100% natural stone, and lots of it. Chilton walls with a Pennsylvania Blue flagstone patio and Door County grey fire ring & accents. The firepit features a smokeless ring insert to provide an enjoyable campfire experience. Power outlets installed by Massart Electric to provide superior entertainment capabilities. This project will go down as one of my favorites, natural stone forces you to be creative and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. 😎
