The Flippo Construction team is currently in the City of Alexandria, Virginia working on the 2nd phase of the Hooffs Run Culvert project. The project involves removing & replacing the top of the culvert, building a retaining wall, and making concrete repairs to the culvert interior. Check out these recent photos of the project.

Yesterday we held a very special Shareholder's Day celebration. We celebrated our 26th year of Flippo Construction being employee-Owned and our 55th anniversary as a company. We had many special guests celebrating with us, including many Flippo retirees, Maryland Delegate Denise Roberts Roberts, and Roderick Lewis from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen's office. Delegate Roberts and Mr. Lewis both spoke about the uniqueness of Employee-Owned companies. Employee-Owner Wilver won the Sharholder's Day T-Shirt Design Contest and Wilfredo & Noe's crew were recognized for the HCCA Excellence In Infrastructure Award their Loyola Avenue Storm Water Replacement Project recently won. The event was closed out by Flippo's President/CEO, John Morgan, who gave an inspiring speech. Flippo also received a Citation from Tara H. Jackson, State's Attorney for Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office, recognizing this special day for our Employe-Owners. We'd like to thank Marley's Bar & Grill for catering the event.
