This is late in posting but we have been too busy enjoying our own personal oasis. First, sorry but not sorry for all the pics. Suzan Podest DuPree and I want to send a great big Thank You to Texas Green Landscaping & Holiday Lights and Cobie Green. They have made our dreams a reality and created the perfect outdoor living space and maintenance-free landscaping. What started a few years ago with an outdoor kitchen, grew to a putting green, pondless waterfall and tiki bar.

Then this past month they did a complete makeover with our front landscaping. We told them we wanted it maintenance-free with different colors and textures. Suzan also wanted to add a water feature. They knocked it out of the park. (We even won Yard of the Month for June as a result) Then they completely demolished an old flagstone patio and covered it with tongue and groove boarding, shingled the roof, added some recess lighting and outdoor fan, did all the electrical work and put down an indestructible concrete paver floor. The crown jewel was the tiki daybed swing they created at the end of our pool. Now we feel like we are at one of those all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas. He took our vision and made it a reality. We added a few flair pieces like the pendant lighting for the daybed swing. He also put a tiki roof on our grandkids lounger so they could match. Finally he added some shelving for our pool towels, sunscreen and other stuff.

Again a great big Thank You to Bruce Green and his crew. They are fantastic and we can’t thank them enough. Suzan and I have one more trick up our sleeve but that will have to wait until next year.
