Fun Fact Friday -

📍 Larimer County covers about 2,640 square miles — and a big portion of it doesn't have access to municipal sewer lines.

That's a lot of homes, farms, and ranches that depend on properly installed septic systems.

We're licensed, local, and ready. If you're in Larimer or Weld County, we've got you.

Why recycle? Because new materials cost more, waste more, and we're better than that.

♻️ We build roads and driveways using recycled asphalt and concrete — and we're proud of it.

✅ Lower cost for you
✅ Less material in landfills
✅ Performs as well as (or better than) new materials
✅ Still looks great when it's done

Doing good work AND doing the right thing? We'll take it.

🦾 Fun Fact Friday!
A standard excavator can move up to 500 cubic yards of soil per day.

A standard excavator can move up to 500 cubic yards of soil in a single day. That's roughly 200 large dump trucks worth of material. 😮

And somehow the neighbor still thinks we can finish in an afternoon. 😄

Every project is different — soil type, depth, conditions, and access all play a role in how fast we move. But our equipment is built for efficiency.
Our operators are THE BEST!

🚜 FAQ Monday!
"What's the difference between grading and excavating?"

Good one — these two get mixed up a lot!

⛏️ EXCAVATING = removing soil or material from the ground (digging down, trenching, etc.)
🏗️ GRADING = shaping the surface of the ground to a specific slope or level

Most projects involve both. We excavate to the right depth, then grade the area to ensure proper drainage and a level surface.

Think of it this way: excavating is the "what" and grading is the "how it sits." 😄

💪 Fun Fact Friday!

Recycled concrete can be stronger than new gravel when properly compacted.

Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) — crushed old concrete — can actually be MORE stable than virgin gravel when properly compacted. The remaining cement particles re-bond and harden over time.

That means we can build you a tougher road for less money using material that would otherwise go to a landfill. That's what we call a triple win. ♻️

🧊 Here's something most people don't think about:

The Iceberg Rule: you only see about 10% of what we do.

When your project is done, you see a finished driveway, a working septic system, a level pad. You don't see the 811 calls, the utility locating, the water management, the compaction testing, the permitting...

We do a LOT underground. Literally. 😄

Trust the people who know what's beneath the surface.

⛰️ FAQ Monday!
"Can you build a road on a slope or hillside?"

Yes — but it takes some planning! 📐

Building on a slope means accounting for drainage (water runs downhill — fast), erosion control, and proper base compaction. We use grading techniques to create safe, stable road surfaces, and often add water bars, culverts, or ditching to manage runoff.

Colorado's terrain keeps things interesting. We've built roads on some very... creative... hillsides. 😅
