Our Grounded Light Project is officially moving into the construction phase, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch this remodel come to life.

Our California clients found a stunning Cape Cod–inspired home with sweeping views of the plains and mountains. While the architecture immediately captured their attention, the interiors felt disconnected from the home’s character and from their personal style.

The goal of this whole-home renovation is to create a space that feels cohesive, warm, functional, and deeply personal, while honoring the architecture and landscape that made them fall in love with the home in the first place.

Think soft natural light, thoughtful sightlines, and interiors that connect seamlessly to the landscape beyond. Vintage motifs and globally sourced pieces will layer in character, creating a collected feeling that doesn’t look newly matched, but rather, as though everything found its way here naturally over time.

Our interior designers, Leah and Julia, are on-site at our Retro Horizon Project, carefully evaluating the details coming together throughout this whole-home renovation and remodel.

While each colour may appear very similar at first glance, each has its own characteristics that reveal themselves differently under the home’s natural light. This is why testing finishes within the actual space is such an important part of the design process.

From wood stain samples for the panelling and collar ties to the doors and other finishing details, every element is thoughtfully considered-not only for how it looks on its own, but for how it works within the home as a whole.

A cohesive interior is built through these considered details, creating a space that feels balanced, intentional, and rich in character.

Our selection meeting for The Ranch, Re-envisioned project left us even more excited about where this home is headed.
