It's a beautiful Colorado fall day to get some winterizations knocked out! 🍂☀️

Our crew is out at Waterglen HOA today, getting an entire community's irrigation system ready for the colder months ahead.

And when you're blowing out sprinklers for a whole neighborhood, you bring in the big equipment. We're talking a compressor that's practically the size of a locomotive! 🚂💨

Whether it's a single residential home or an entire HOA community, no job is too big or too small for our team.

Winter might not be here quite yet, but we're making sure our clients are ready when it shows up! ❄️

We make life better through landscaping. 🌿

❄️ TOO SOON?! We know, we know… nobody is ready for snow pictures just yet!

Before anyone panics, this is a throwback! We haven't traded in the fall leaves for snow shovels quite yet.

BUT… with temperatures expected to dip close freezing later this week, Mother Nature is giving us a not-so-subtle reminder that winter is right around the corner.

Consider this your friendly reminder to protect those sensitive plants, bring in your potted flowers, and disconnect those garden hoses!

We'll keep enjoying fall while we can, but our ZGL crews will be ready when the white stuff decides to make its appearance!

And don't worry… we're not wishing for snow either! 🤣

There’s just something about gathering around a fire.

A great outdoor space isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about how it gets used. Good conversation, cold drinks, a warm fire, and a backyard that feels like an extension of home.

We love creating spaces where people can slow down, hang out, and enjoy Colorado evenings together.

Ready to make your backyard a place you actually want to spend time in? 🌿🔥

A backyard made for gathering.

This project came together with a mix of beautiful hardscaping, new plantings, outdoor gathering areas, and some really fun finishing touches.

We love how the different spaces flow together while still giving this property plenty of room for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Projects like this are why we love what we do, taking a vision and turning it into a space our clients can enjoy for years to come.

Great work by our ZGL team!

Poolside perfection. 💦🌿

We loved bringing the landscaping together around this incredible property. From the plantings and finishing details to the way the landscape complements the pool and outdoor living areas, this one turned out beautifully.

Creating outdoor spaces like this is what we love to do throughout Northern Colorado.

Last week in Washington, D.C., members of Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado and National Association of Landscape Professionals came together to advocate for the H-2B program and the future of our industry.

These conversations matter — not just for landscape companies, but for the employees, families, communities, and customers who rely on seasonal workforce programs to keep projects moving and businesses growing. We’re proud to help represent Colorado’s green industry and continue pushing for practical solutions that support hardworking teams across the country. 🇺🇸🌱

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet, listen, and advocate alongside us.

Fossil Lake Ranch, Lady Moon Project 🌙

ZGL is proud to be working alongside W Squared Excavating on improvements to the Fossil Lake Lady Moon site.

Phase One focused on preparing the area for a new drain system. Our team removed the existing cobble rock and carefully relocated large boulders to allow W Squared to install a new outlet and drain pipe feeding into the pond.

Phase Two is coming up next and will include finish grading, installation of a new irrigation system, and planting of native turf to complete the landscape.

We’re excited to see this project come together and will continue to share updates along the way!

We’re excited to officially share our newly remodeled office extension!

This project was all about growth—not just in space, but in how we work together as a team. With the expansion, we’re now able to bring more of our crew under one roof, including our maintenance account managers and landscape designers. Having everyone in one central location makes collaboration easier, communication smoother, and ultimately helps us deliver an even better experience for our clients.

We were intentional with every detail of this space, creating an environment that supports teamwork, creativity, and efficiency. It’s a big step forward for us, and we’re proud of what it represents for the future of our company.

If you’re in the area, we’d love to have you stop by and see it for yourself!
