This isn’t just a fence. It’s peace of mind.

These homeowners wanted their dogs to have the freedom to run and play without worrying about predators. Our job was to build something that was secure, looked great, and worked with the property…not against it.

We built 100 linear feet of custom fencing using pressure-treated lumber, welded wire, and handcrafted gates built specifically for this project.

One detail we’re especially proud of is how we installed the wire. Instead of simply following the slope of the ground (which leaves uneven lines and gaps), we kept the wire level with each fence section while stepping the fence to match the grade. The result is a cleaner, more professional look that still follows the terrain beautifully.

We also took great care to preserve the mature aspen trees, incorporating them into the design rather than removing them. The finished project is strong, functional, and looks like it has always belonged there.

It’s projects like these that remind us why we love serving our community. Every property is different, and we enjoy finding the right solution for each homeowner.

Five or six years ago, when I started hauling junk, there were only a few of us doing it around Teller County. Today there are a lot more options—and honestly, that’s okay. Healthy competition is good for our community.

What I’m most thankful for is that so many of you continue to call Picnic Services first.

I believe it’s because we’re about more than just filling a trailer. We show up when we say we will, give honest upfront pricing, treat your property with respect, and work hard to make the whole process as stress-free as possible.

This hot tub removal is a perfect example. What looked like a huge headache for the homeowner became just another day’s work for us. We handled the heavy lifting, the loading, and the cleanup so they could simply enjoy having their space back.

Over the years we’ve hauled away hot tubs, sheds, appliances, furniture, construction debris, yard waste, and plenty of “I’ll get to it someday” piles. No job is too small, and we’re always happy to tackle the big ones too.

We recently completed this beautiful cedar shadow box privacy fence featuring cedar pickets and a clean top trim. The finished product blends privacy, durability, and a timeless mountain look that fits our community perfectly. Video walk through in comments

I’m not always great at stopping long enough to celebrate wins… but this one feels worth sharing.

This week we found out that Picnic Services was voted Best Handyman in Teller County for the FIFTH year in a row.

And as if that wasn’t enough—on the very same day—we brought home a new CAT 239D3 skid steer.

Five years ago this business started with a simple idea: show up, work hard, do what you say you’re going to do, treat people right, and trust that if you serve people well, good things happen.

Since then, this business has grown far beyond anything I imagined—and that’s because of all of you.

This one was a hot tub removal… but it got me thinking.

When I started Picnic Services LLC about 5 years ago, it felt like there were maybe three of us doing junk removal around here. Fast forward to today and I swear there are almost as many people hauling junk as there are churches in Woodland Park… one on every corner 😂

And honestly? That’s okay. We’re thankful for every customer that’s trusted us over the years and helped us keep growing.

What hasn’t changed is how we do things: show up, work hard, communicate, clean up after ourselves, and treat people right.
