Fall may be on the horizon, but the heat isn't done with us yet! ☀️

As temperatures stay high, it's important to take a few extra steps to stay safe. Keep water nearby, replace electrolytes, use cooling gear when you need it, and don't forget sunscreen and SPF lip balm.

Whether you're on the jobsite or spending the day outside, stay hydrated, take breaks when needed, and pay attention to how you're feeling. A little preparation goes a long way when working in the heat.

Last week, Dohn team members came together for our annual Stand Down for Safety—an opportunity to step away from our normal routines and focus on what it takes to keep ourselves and each other safe every day.

The morning started with pancakes and included conversations around jobsite safety, shared experiences, and some activities to put our safety knowledge to the test. More importantly, it gave our entire team dedicated time to reset, ask questions, and reinforce the responsibility we all have to look out for one another.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the morning a success. Safety is one of our core values at Dohn, and events like this are an important part of keeping it at the forefront of everything we do.

A great day on the jobsite starts with a great team... and sometimes a great cheeseburger. 🍔

Earlier this week, Superintendent David North fired up the grill for our Bank of America Clear Creek Crossing team, serving burgers and hot dogs to Dohn team members and our subcontractor partners.
