The cheapest option isn’t always the least expensive.
It’s tempting during a remodel to look for places to cut costs. And sometimes, that’s exactly the right decision.
But saving money upfront can get expensive when it means replacing something sooner, living with something that doesn’t function the way you need it to, or, our least favorite, wishing you’d made a different choice once the project is finished.
The key isn’t to splurge on everything.
It’s knowing which parts of your home need to work hard, last for years and would be difficult (and expensive!) to change later.
And knowing where you can save? That’s just as important.
Tomorrow on the Eheart blog, we’re breaking down where to splurge and where to save on a home remodel—so you can put your remodeling dollars where they matter most.
