Flashback to '24 - one year after we bought this side dump bucket from CMP Attachments to backfill some trenches - it had been sitting and waiting for the job to kick off when we had an 💡epiphany💡 - This thing can probably load a tilt rotator better than it fills a trench! 🎯

With no equipment at the shop large enough to set it on the trailer, we dragged it up with a chainfall. Now it's an integral part of the business and front and center on many jobs!

Form definitely follows function in this case - first rock wall we've ever backfilled! Soil shear on this bank is now history. Once we pull the old asphalt out, a Tensar geogrid and 9"+ of Item4 will ensure the new pavement will last for many years to come.

We remember chuckling the first time we saw one of these excavator brooms at Redford Excavating, LLC Then figured, 'what the heck, lets try it'... so we ordered a CMP Attachments Talon Broom - it's now a job favorite!
