Excavation Contractors Fenson Contracting was registered with the Ohio Secretary of State on April 18, 2012 and began its' first project on July 23, 2012.

We are a general contractor performing excavation, utility, and demolition work. We work with both private and public clients on commercial, residential, industrial, municipal, and agricultural projects. Some projects include ponds, ditches, driveways, culverts, parking lots, roadways, and site development. Please contact us for a free estimate for your site development needs!

As we wrap up 2025, we are grateful here at Fenson Contracting. Everyone showed up day after day with hard work and pride in their craft, and we are fortunate to have such a strong team. The dedication, long hours and continued commitment contributed to a successful year.

We want to give a big thanks to our subcontractors, suppliers and other partners—your support and teamwork keeps everything moving in the right direction. And lastly, everyone’s families, friends and our communities for their support and energy for Fenson.

We closed out the season with a fun filled Christmas Party at Whiskey, Wine and Roses. Thanks to KC Williams and his team for hosting us with great food for another successful party!

We’re excited for what 2026 has in store—new opportunities, continued growth, and plenty of projects to look forward to!

We are looking for 3-5 acres of open ground with potential future buying rights for additional acreage. We’ve recently started work in downtown Lima on the new Allen County Administration Building.

Fenson is a subcontractor to Charles Construction Services for the basement excavation while working alongside Igel & Co., who is performing the shoring work. We are also completing all other sitework and underground utilities on the project.

The entire facility is scheduled for completion in summer 2026.

Little bit late but we wanted to extend our thank you and shoutout to KC and Whiskey Wine & Roses for hosting our 2024 Christmas Party and Annual Winter Training a couple weeks ago. We were able to get a great turnout. Everything went well and the food was great as always.

This is 2024 pricing (price increases effective 1/1/2025) - all prices include loading. We can deliver for an additional price.

2.5” minus crushed concrete (unscreened) - $8/ton

#2 Base material - 2” and larger - $9/ton

1.5” minus crushed asphalt - $9.25/ton

In 2025 we will have a 1.5” minus crushed concrete available that will conform to a 304/411 gradation.

Crushed concrete is a recycled product and may have some debris in it. This material makes good base.

We also have a general mixed fill material available.

We enjoyed our company Christmas Party on Friday evening. We owe a big shoutout and thank you to Kc Williams and Whiskey Wine & Roses for hosting the party this year - they did a great job for us! We were able to get a great turnout, but we were still missing 15 from the picture.

We took on many challenges this year that allowed for major successful growth that we are very proud of. We owe a big thank you to everyone, including employees, their families, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. who contributed to our growth this season. We are excited to see what next season brings for us.

Fenson is proud to be part of the multi-million dollar Van Wert FWD revitalization project. In 2022 we were awarded our first contract with Model Group who is over seeing the entire project. That initial contact has continued to grow including utility, sitework, and concrete scopes. We look forward to continuing our work through upcoming phases of this exciting project.
