Cadence is a Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Site Planning practice located within FAT Village Arts District in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We believe in a model that nurtures growth and promotes a cross-pollination of ideas. Our approach erases traditional industry divisions to fuel collaboration and free creativity, recognizing that great ideas can spark anywhere.

Using Florida Native Plants in our landscapes is more than a stylistic choice, its benefits are well documented for people and other animals that we share the outdoors with. Our first feature of the month is Beautyberry, Callicarpa americana, and it sure does live up to its name!

Lot 6 at The Eleven is the latest chapter of a relationship we’re proud to continue with the folks at Congaree and Penn. Eight years ago we embarked on a farm vision with the owners that prioritized low impact development, celebrated Florida’s agricultural heritage, and promoted wildlife friendly design practices at the master plan level. Today, we’re carrying that vision through to a smaller scale applying the same principals for the design of an individual homestead.

The Eleven at Congaree & Penn is recognized as a Southern Living Inspired Community, Lot 6 reflects a shared belief in thoughtful agrarian lifestyle and a design that makes a lasting connection to the wild Florida land it sits within.
