We lost a good man but Cole wasn’t just an employee… he was family to this company. One of the original “Old Timers Crew,” and one of the toughest, hardest‑working men we’ve ever known.
Cole was one of the ones that taught me how to pour concrete when I was in my early 20s. He didn’t teach with long speeches or fancy explanations. He taught by showing up, doing the work, and doing it right. No complaining. No excuses. Just grit, pride, and old‑school craftsmanship.
Even in his late 70s, he worked circles around the young bucks. They’d try to keep up, but Cole always had another gear. He set the standard for what it means to be a concrete man.
Cole retired his bucket of tools here and they won’t be touched again. They’ll sit right where the boys can see them, a reminder of the badass who came before them and the legacy he leaves behind.
We’re grateful for every year we had with him. Rest easy, Cole. You earned it.
