Before you get to the tile, cabinetry, fixtures, and finished details, there's this.

We're in the demolition phase of this bathroom remodel—removing the existing tub and flooring, opening walls, removing insulation, and preparing the space for the new design.

This phase also gives us access to what's behind the finished surfaces. Instead of making assumptions about existing conditions, we can see what we're working with and address what needs to happen before everything begins going back together.

Demo can look like we're simply taking a room apart, but there's a purpose behind it: we're making room to build the new space correctly.

This kitchen came together piece by piece — from the cabinet fronts and brass hardware to that arched window over the sink and the island that anchors the whole room.

A lot of homeowners assume that working with Nordic Builders means using our designer, full stop. It doesn't.

We started as a general contractor — just making sure the work itself was done right. We became a design-build firm because we kept seeing how much smoother a project goes when design and construction are talking to each other from the very first decision, not because we wanted to add another service to sell.

If you've already found a designer you trust, that relationship doesn't have to end to work with us. Bring them in. We'll focus on what we do best: making sure the plan is clear, the budget holds, and the timeline stays on track.

One of the things we care most about doesn't show up in the final photos. Before any tile goes up in a shower or bath, a full waterproofing membrane goes in first. It takes longer, it costs more, and once the tile is set, no one will ever see it again — except you. Years from now, when there's no water damage behind that wall, that's this exact step doing its job. This is the kind of step Yeti trained on for, long before Nordic Builders existed — some things you just don't skip. It's part of what we mean when we talk about craftsmanship that actually protects your investment, not just how the final photos look.
