🥎 Building More Than Buildings, One Inning at a Time! ❤️

Our Paul Hemmer Company team traded hard hats for ball caps at the inaugural Construction Cares Softball Classic on October 17, making it all the way to the championship game! 🏆

While we came up just short of the title, the real win was supporting Blood Cancer United and the fight against blood cancer.

👏 A big thank you to Building Management Partners for organizing the event and to all the teams, sponsors, and volunteers who made it possible.

Completed earlier this year, the Dever Family Foundation Skilled Trades Education Center at Camp Friedlander is a project we're especially proud to look back on.

This 10,000-square-foot facility features eight hands-on training bays and flexible classroom spaces designed to introduce the next generation to careers in construction and the skilled trades.

At Paul Hemmer Company, we understand the importance of developing tomorrow's skilled workforce, and we're proud to have played a role in bringing this facility to life.

🏭 Supporting the Future of Advanced Manufacturing in Southwest Ohio!

We're proud to have partnered with Bodycote on its new 55,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fairfield, Ohio!

As part of Bodycote's $12 million investment in relocating and expanding its Greater Cincinnati operations, Hemmer Construction Company completed tenant improvements to help transform the facility into a specialized manufacturing environment supporting advanced heat treatment and thermal processing.

The new facility expands Bodycote's production capabilities, strengthens its support of the aerospace and defense industries, and positions the company for continued growth in the region.

🏗️ Investing in the future of construction.

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to support the Spirit of Construction Foundation and its work to strengthen the next generation of our industry.

This year, the Foundation reached a new milestone, awarding $129,800 in scholarships to 58 students, the largest scholarship investment and number of recipients in its history. Since 2004, more than $808,000 has been awarded to 340 individuals pursuing careers in construction, engineering, architecture, design and the skilled trades.

Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients and to the Spirit of Construction Foundation for continuing to create opportunities, develop our future workforce and advance the construction industry.

🍂 A great fall tradition with even better company.

Last week, we welcomed clients, partners, friends and team members to the annual Paul Hemmer Company Fall Festival at Sand Run Nursery & Preserve.

The weather cooperated, the setting was hard to beat, and most importantly, it was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and spend time with the people who have helped make Hemmer what it is today.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Fall Festival another memorable one. We’re already looking forward to next year! 🍁

🏗️ Ever wonder what’s happening on a construction site from week to week?

At Molto Canal Pointe C, last week brought progress above ground, below ground and everywhere in between.

Crews advanced the remaining precast wall installation, with patching, grouting and sealant work following close behind. On the foundation side, 30 column pad footings were placed across two pours.

And when wet clay soils made sitework difficult? Lime stabilization got underway to improve soil conditions and keep the project moving.

It’s all part of the work that happens behind the scenes as a building takes shape. 👷‍♂️🏗️
