How a countertop goes from slab to kitchen at IMEX Stone.

It starts in our Fort Myers showroom, where you choose the exact slab you want for your space.

Next, we template your kitchen with physical strip templates, so every piece is made to fit your layout. Your stone is then cut and finished in house, in our own fabrication shop. Finally, we install it in your home.

Ever wondered how a countertop is attached to the cabinets?

It isn’t screwed down. Countertops are secured with silicone, which holds the stone firmly in place. Getting a slab this heavy into position takes the right method: it’s set on top of the cabinets, laid flat, and carefully slid into place to avoid any cracking.
