After leaving one gym and finding my home at , blood, sweat, and tears of grinding on the mats day in and day out, my Professor has promoted me to 🟦🟦🟦⬛️⬛️🟦! 19 months of continuous growth, learning, injuries and setbacks. But showing up is the hardest part! Thank you to everyone of for pushing me, teaching me, and humbling me so far! I am honored to be apart of this tribe! As much as I want to take a breath of air, it’s to time to dial myself in and back to learning and growing! Congratulations to my fellow practitioners on everyone’s hard earned belts, OSS to you, and hats off to Professor on his 3rd Degree last night from Master . Truly a speechless evening of Winter Camp 2025!

Words cannot describe how much tonight means to me, to earn my first stripe on the Marine Corps Birthday I get to celebrate as we go into Veterans Day. To my coaches and all senior practitioners who have guided me along my journey thus far, thank you! It’s only the beginning with a long road ahead. The only easy day was yesterday. Congratulations to my fellow practitioners that also earned stripes tonight, proud of you all and beyond proud to share the mats with everyone at our academy. To with the guidance and curriculum we follow, thank you. I am truly humbled this evening on such a special day on the calendar. thank you for teaching and coach me the ways the past couple of months it has been a great ride so far a few set backs health wise but we’re back and charging forward! thank you for the lessons we have had and taking the time to instruct and critique my practice and helped me grow into a better white belt warrior! The memories and lessons that I have gained so far plus the amazing tribe I am so thankful to have you all in my life! Have a great weekend and happy Veterans Day to all my fellow brothers and sisters! OSS!

I have only been on my journey as a Practitioner for a few months, 5 weeks out for an injury but was able to come back to the mats this week. But today the training that took place and what I have learned from this seminar from the world renowned practitioner has left me with such great insight and sliver of light in the world of Jiu Jitsu, thank you Sir. The path is long, and a never ending uphill road. It loves to serve practitioners a plate full of humble. But there is growth even when jiu jitsu has the upper hand. Per the seminar, go back to neutral, learn from the mistakes, learn from the tribe you train with , help each other become better and never stop improving, to my fellow tribe members that have earned their belts today, I am beyond grateful to share the mats with you and learn from you all, beyond proud of your milestone and the short time I have trained with I always walk away with a piece of knowledge and a better practitioner. Thank you for your patience and insight, I look forward to sharing the mat next! This day was filled with memories to last a life time, today is not about me, it’s about everyone in my tribe and could not be more proud of my family I train with! Love you all and can’t wait to pick back up Monday for when class is back in session! Have a safe and great rest of your weekend to everyone.
