Its been a while since we have posted anything. With all that has been happening with the storms, we have been a bit busy and are just now getting our heads above water to begin to look for additional work. We have been working on aiding homeowners in the Fort Myers and Naples area to rebuild after the past couple of years of storms.

Our team is versed in all specs of the renovation and construction business. We offer services second to no one and provide 100% customer satisfaction. We work very hard to understand the desires and dreams of our clients, their families and their project. We're looking for a Skilled Carpenter with 5+ years of experience and skills across a broad spectrum of home maintenance/repair and remodeling skill categories. Excellent customer communication skills required. Must be friendly with good, clean appearance. Takes pride in their work, their appearance and can delivery quality project or task each time.

Our personnel will complete most all phases of a particular project. The ideal candidate will be able to perform most tasks or duties related a particular project. Please review all the requirements as noted below.
The duties and tasked noted will be expected for all candidates.

Skilled Carpenter must possess the following knowledge:
*Current carpentry practices, materials, hand and power tools & other equipment as needed.
*Cabinetry & countertop construction, installation and/or assembly.
*Knowledge and practices of millwork installation.
*Installation practices for paint-grade & stain-grade millwork.
*Basic plumbing & electrical.
* Basic painting & drywall finishing.
*Basic lock smith related skills.
*Computer skills
*Skilled Carpenter must possess ability to:
*Perform skilled rough & finish carpentry work.
*Operate tools & machines of the construction trade.
*Lift & carry heavy tools/materials.
*Keep accurate records

Additional requirements:
*Must have your own tools fit for many job types.
*Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reach, stand, kneel and climb ladders during the course of each days work.
*The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Ensure all client information, job reports, and documents are submitted correctly and on time.
*Your position will require supervising individuals on the project. Planning and managing of the day to day operation of the project will be within your job duties.
*Ability to mentor and teach other individuals on the jobs as to the industry accepted techniques and standards for various duties and skills required to complete the project. This will include instilling company acceptable standard as set forth by Management.
*You must have a reasonably clean driving record (no DUI or suspended license) and be able to pass a background check before being hired.

Our personnel will complete most all phases of painting on a particular project. The ideal candidate will be able to perform all preparation for paint appliation (interior/Exterior) related a particular project. This may include drywall finish work on small to medium projects to ready for paint application. This is to include wall and ceiling texture application. Please review all the requirements as noted below.

The duties and tasked noted will be expected for all candidates.

Skilled Candidates must possess the following knowledge:

*Current painting and drywall finish practices, materials, hand and power tools & other equipment as needed.
*Drywall repair to ready the surface for texture application.
*Knowledge and practices of paint application interior/exterior applications.
*Finish practices for paint-grade & stain-grade millwork.
*Basic electrical. This for the removal and reinstallation of light fixtures, fans, etc.
*Basic lock smith related skills, remove and reset of locks and deadbolts.
*Smart Phone use skills.

This past week our team of professionals worked on Exterior Trim repair and replacement in the Fort Myers Beach area. We painted the Vans store at the University Mall in Sarasota, FL. We also began a Bathroom renovation in the Fort Myers area.

Our office personnel are working on estimating various projects from incidental service related projects to full renovation projects. We are also bidding on numerous window and door replacement projects.

Please keep in mind, Emcon Enterprise is a full service Renovation Contractor servicing the South Florida area. We are equipped to handle most projects from incidental repairs, emergency call all the way through full renovation projects. Emcon is proud to announce a couple of new additions to our family of personnel. We have hired Scott Larson to fill the position of Journeyman Carpenter. Also we have brought on Tyler Jobs to fill our Carpenters Apprentice position. And last but most definitely not least, we have hired Nicole Beauvais-Warr (don't try to say that, its a bit difficult...LOL) as our new Financial Manager. Everyone in the Emcon family is excited and happy to have you all with us. Good luck to you.
