Not exactly my creation but wanted to post as an idea for a teacher gift. We go to Earth & Fire Ceramic Studio to paint. My son was about to finish kindergarten so we decided to make his teacher, Mrs. Emerson, a special gift as a thank you for the year. She loves Snoopy so that had to be the theme. Chase drew the design and the words and then he painted it but I helped him stay within the lines :) and then overlay the lines in black. Only took one week to fire ~ I highly recommend the place!

I have such great news. Get Your Paint On - A Paint Your Own Pottery Studio has offered to donate ALL 20 of the ornaments I am painting for each one of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting!! I am speechless at their generosity. I wanted to post this so anyone who sees this knows that you can send me a card, letter etc. to include in the shipment if you are interested. The ornaments will probably take a couple of weeks to complete so they will not make it in time for Christmas but I think that is OK in the grand scheme of things. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the families will have much of a holiday so we're hoping this is just a lasting reminder of their special child for holidays to come. If you want to send a card, please message me and I'll send you my address. Lots of love - hug your kids tight.

Up early finishing off some hand painted wine glasses for a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween wedding. They are black glass with silver paint and I would love to do another set so if you need a holiday gift idea, they would make great holiday or new year's eve ware!
