By June, your outdoor AC unit is in the thick of it. Heat, humidity, yard growth, and debris all start adding up around the system.
This is a good month to take a quick look at:
• Plants or shrubs growing too close
• Leaves or grass buildup around the base
• Any visible damage to the fins or sides
• New noises when the unit starts up
Your AC needs airflow outside just as much as it needs airflow inside. Giving the outdoor unit a little space and attention now can help it do its job better when the hottest stretch arrives.
