NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

Please be aware that the ditch line areas at the south end project along Hwy 11, where the new water main has recently been installed and covered, may develop dips, settling, or sunken spots after upcoming rainfall over the next 1–2 weeks. This is a normal part of the ground settling process following excavation work.

Our contractors will be monitoring these areas closely and will repair and regrade any affected spots as soon as conditions allow.

improvements are completed to better serve our community.

ATTENTION FORT PAYNE WATER CUSTOMERS
A solicitation is currently circulating by mail from American Water Resources. This mailing contains information about an optional protection plan that may be purchased to help cover costs associated with unexpected repairs to water service lines located beyond the utility main.
Please be advised that homeowners are responsible for the portion of the water service line that runs from the utility meter to their home.
