RapidRoots Compost is now Registered with DEC under a Composting Facility. This includes registration for the FoodScrap Recycling in NYS. Montgomery & Fulton County. We are not only a drop off facility, compost is made right at our site.

The New York State Food Scraps Recycling law, requires businesses and institutions that generate an annual average of two tons of unused food per week to donate excess edible food and recycle all remaining food scraps if they are within 25 miles of an organics recycler, like a composting facility.
