FLOOD TEST, FLOOD TEST, FLOOD TEST.

We've heard of several situations lately where shower waterproofing has failed due to improper installation or improper materials. In order to avoid those problems, we always perform a 24 hour flood test to ensure that waterproofing has been installed properly.

Essentially, we fill your the pan of your shower with water before tile is set and monitor the water level. After 24 hours, if the water level remains the same... You're good to go! A simple step to keep you safe from future issues.

We are also a proponent for Schluter-Systems who offer a lifetime warranty on shower systems.
