This backyard got a major upgrade this fall, and we love how it came together.

We extended the existing concrete slab and built a custom roof extension to create a covered outdoor living space that’s functional, comfortable, and ready for year-round use. From the structure to the roofline, this addition was designed to feel like it was always meant to be part of the home.

The homeowner absolutely nailed the finishing touches—staining the wood, adding the furniture, and creating a full outdoor kitchen setup that truly brings the space to life.

This is a great example of how the right structure + personal touches can completely transform a backyard.
