Haint Blue originated with the Gullah Geechee people. According to tradition, the light blue color was believed to protect homes by tricking evil spirits, often called “haints,” into thinking the ceiling was water or the sky, preventing them from entering the home.

By painting the brick Alabaster, adding Tricorn Black accents, and finishing the front doors in Dark Night, we were able to give this home an entirely new identity while keeping the features that make it special.
