💧 Slab leak repair in White Settlement, Texas — and this one was for family!

The guys were out at my uncle’s house today taking care of a leaking cold-water line underneath the slab. Instead of tearing into the floor, we isolated the problem line and rerouted it overhead through the attic.

🔧 Tied in at the manifold behind the kitchen
🏠 Ran a new cold-water line through the attic
🚿 Dropped it back down to the master bath lavatory
💦 Completely bypassed the leaking line under the slab
✅ Tested everything and got him back in business

Slab leaks don’t always mean tearing up your floors. When the layout allows it, an overhead reroute can eliminate the failed underground line without opening up the slab.

And when it’s your uncle’s house, you better make damn sure it’s done right. 😂🔧

If this happened at your house, would you rather open the slab or reroute overhead? 👇

Late-night call in Aledo 🌙🔧

We were called out for what looked like a water leak inside a customer’s home. After opening up the wall and tracking it down, we found the real culprit — a leaking copper condensate line.

We removed the failed copper and replaced it with PVC to help prevent the same issue from happening again. Leak found. Problem solved. Customer taken care of. 💪

One thing about how we run North Texas Plumbing Solutions: I don’t require my guys to work nights or weekends. Their time with their families matters. That means when a late-night or weekend call needs to be handled, you’ll usually find me out there taking care of it.

But this one wasn’t a solo mission. Huge shoutout to Jeremy for thugging it out with me late into the night and making sure we got this customer taken care of. 😂👊 That kind of teamwork deserves some recognition.

Sometimes the leak isn’t coming from where you expect it.

Would you have guessed that was a condensate line leaking? 👇

Sometimes the leak isn’t where you expect it. 😳💦⚡

We fired up the pump for this outdoor fountain and immediately had water coming out of the electrical conduit. Definitely not something you want to see.

Now it’s time to trace where that water is getting into the conduit, find the source, and get it corrected before this turns into a much bigger problem.

What would your first thought be if you saw water pouring out of an electrical line like this? 👇

Teamwork makes these remodels come together. 🤝 Today we partnered with Legends Construction on their latest project in Haslet, Texas, getting the plumbing ready for a tub-to-shower conversion.

Our part of the project: removing the old setup and installing the new shower valve so their crew can keep the remodel moving forward.

🔥 Flame loss on a tankless water heater doesn’t always mean there’s something wrong with the heater itself.

This unit was struggling to maintain flame under load, so the guys broke out the manometer and started checking the gas pressure in inches of water column (in. W.C.).

We adjusted the gas pressure at the regulator and verified it would stay where it needed to be while the tankless was firing under demand. 🔧🔥

Tankless systems need more than just “gas to the unit.” They need the correct pressure and volume while operating at full load.

⚙️ Diagnose the problem
📏 Check gas pressure under load
🔧 Make the proper adjustments
🔥 Verify proper operation

Plumbers and HVAC guys — when you see flame loss under a sustained load, what are you checking first: gas pressure, venting, combustion, or flame sensing? 👇
