🌱 If your lawn struggled last year, don’t wait until the Texas heat is already beating it up.
This is the time of year when a lot of Fort Worth homeowners start noticing the same things again:
Thin grass.
Dry patches.
Bare spots.
Muddy areas after rain.
Sections that never really turned green.
Parts of the yard that just look tired.
And once the real summer heat kicks in, those problems usually get harder to fix.
That doesn’t mean every yard needs brand new sod.
Some lawns just need cleanup, better watering, better soil prep, or a little TLC to help them bounce back.
But if your yard has large dead areas, heavy patchiness, or spots where grass keeps failing year after year, it may be better to reset that section with new sod before the heat makes everything tougher.
The biggest thing is not waiting until the lawn is completely gone.
A yard is easier to plan for when you can still see what’s working and what’s not.
Where does the sun hit hardest?
Where does water sit?
Where is the soil packed down?
Where does foot traffic or pets wear it out?
Which areas keep coming back, and which ones never do?
That’s what tells you whether the lawn needs a little help or a fresh start.
So if your yard looked rough last year, now is a good time to take a look at it.
Not in a rushed way.
Just in a smart way before Fort Worth weather makes the decision for you.
Send us a few pictures of your lawn and we can tell you what we’d recommend.
