Congratulations to Santiago Guadarrama, TSU One’s Extra Mile Award winner for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Santiago has been a foreman with TSU One for nine years, and in this video he shares what the company has meant to him, the relationships he has built throughout the years, and how much it means to be recognized through the Extra Mile Award program.

He talks about enjoying the work he does on neighborhood replacements, the respect he has for his supervisors and area managers, and how those around him have motivated him to continue growing and striving to become a great leader himself.

Winning this vehicle was not only exciting for Santiago, but also for his family. One of the most memorable moments was calling his wife to share the news and hearing how excited she was for what this blessing would mean for them.

The Extra Mile Award continues to recognize employees who demonstrate loyalty, commitment, safety, leadership, and dedication to the company and the people around them.

During job site visits, TSU One safety officers check everything from trailer hitches and tire conditions to proper traffic control, cones, and equipment setup.

Some opportunities are worth coming back to.

Isac Palomares, Foreman at the boring unit at TSU One, has over 15 years connected to the company. After leaving for a short period, he made the decision to return — recognizing the culture, leadership, and opportunity that TSU One provides.

Since coming back, he has seen continued improvements, especially in safety, with stronger standards and processes in place to support crews in the field.

Today, he leads underground boring operations, playing a key role in safely installing infrastructure across job sites.

For Isac, it’s more than a job — it’s the people and the environment that make TSU One stand out.

Safety is built into every step of the job.
This gas job site highlights some of the key safety measures that TSU One requires and enforces on every project.

Spoil piles are placed more than two feet away from the trench to reduce the risk of collapse and meet OSHA standards. A dedicated spotter is present whenever work is being performed in the trench — monitoring conditions, watching for hazards, and equipped with a fire extinguisher in case of emergency.

These practices are not optional — they are part of the process that helps ensure every team member stays safe on the job.

Because the goal is always the same: everyone goes home safe.

At TSU One, rainy days are used to get ahead. Crews focus on equipment readiness, inspections, and making sure everything is dialed in for when operations resume.

It’s also time to reinforce training — reviewing safety procedures, watching training materials, and making sure every team member is ready to perform at a high level.
