What Does A1 Certified Actually Mean? π
When you call Lon Smith for a roof inspection, you get an A1 Certified Inspector. But what does that actually mean?
A1 Certification isn't just a credential that sounds good. It's 80+ hours of classroom and field training. Our inspectors learn to:
β Identify storm damage most contractors miss
β Assess structural integrity accurately
β Document damage for records
β Understand manufacturer warranties and requirements
β Spot problems before they become expensive repairs
Why it matters: Not every roofer can inspect damage accurately. An untrained eye might miss critical issues, or overpromise what needs replacing. A1 Certification means your inspection is backed by industry training and standards.
When a storm hits your roof, certification matters. You need someone who knows what they're looking at.
That's what A1 means.
