BACKPACK DONATION SUCCESS!
As students head back to class, we want to wish all students a great school year!

We’re thrilled to share that our 11th annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive was a massive success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Trade Partners-who contributed an astounding $17,200-our team supported nearly 2,000 students as they kick off the new school year.

We delivered backpacks and supplies across local DFW districts, including Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Everman ISD, Duncanville ISD, and Trinity Basin Preparatory. We also equipped students at ACH Child and Family Services with essential learning tools and provided monetary support to Hempstead ISD in Waller County to help their students get back-to-school ready.

At our core, we believe the work goes beyond the jobsite. It’s about building lasting relationships and supporting the students, educators, districts, and communities behind the spaces we help create.

To everyone who volunteered, packed, coordinated, or donated-thank you for making a real difference and helping set these students up for a fantastic year!

Nothing beats a good old Lone Star rivalry!

We recently gathered for our annual company Family Day at the Ballpark, and the energy in the stands was unmatched. With our local crew bringing the noise for the Rangers and our Houston Division team repping the Astros, every inning came with some serious friendly banter.

The Rangers walked away with the W this time (sorry, Houston!), but the real highlight of the day was stepping away from the jobsites, sharing a few hot dogs, and connecting with our amazing team members and their families.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable day. Already looking forward to the next one!

We were thrilled to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for Everman ISD’s new Dr. Curtis T. Amos, Sr. Multipurpose Facility!

As the Design-Build partner alongside Huckabee, we were proud to help bring this state-of-the-art indoor athletic space to life for the district and its student-athletes.

The new space includes a 70-yard indoor practice field adaptable for multiple sports, four classrooms, a large athletic storage room, dedicated restrooms, an office, and back-of-house operational spaces.

Congratulations to Everman ISD on this incredible addition to your community—we hope this facility serves, supports, and inspires your student-athletes for generations to come!

We were excited to welcome the Irving Police Department to their new Live Fire Tactical Training Center on July 21!

The modern 37,000 SF training center features a 20-lane, 100-yard indoor gun range, adaptable training rooms, administrative offices, and dedicated support spaces that provide a realistic, scenario-based training environment for officers.

Congratulations to the City of Irving and the Irving Police Department on the completion of this outstanding project! We are grateful for the opportunity to partner on a facility that strengthens public safety and serves the community.

We are excited to share the final photography of the new City of Roanoke, Texas Police Department, Gun Range, and Municipal Courts Facility!

This modern, 5.5-acre complex provides both the police department and municipal court with major security, safety, and operational upgrades. The main building houses spaces for patrol, criminal investigations, administration, records, and courts, alongside a state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center that doubles as a storm shelter. To support personnel in a high-pressure field, the design features a bright, daylight-filled dispatch suite and dedicated staff fitness spaces. Adjacent to the complex, the new specialized training facility and indoor shooting range serves both Roanoke PD and neighboring agencies.

Thank you to the City of Roanoke, Texas for their trust in our team to deliver this landmark project. We also want to thank 720 Design & Contracting, our trade partners, and our design partners at FGM Architects and GFF for their incredible collaboration from start to finish.

School is out, and the future of construction is in!

We are thrilled to welcome 6 outstanding summer interns to our team. Over the next couple months, they’ll get hands-on experience, learn alongside our team, and see exactly what it takes to provide the best construction experience for our clients and partners.

Big things are happening in Fort Worth! We officially broke ground on the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) New Operations Compound.

Situated on a 23-acre site off I-820 in Northwest Fort Worth, this project will include long-awaited operational improvements for TRWD’s dedicated staff, who serve over 2-million people across an 11-county region in North Texas.

The operations compound will include 10 new buildings totaling 108,676 SF and is designed to streamline TRWD’s regional operations and improve efficiency and response times for systems operations. The new complex will serve as a centralized hub for administration, fleet maintenance, and infrastructure storage, as well as a dedicated facility for the law enforcement division.

SEDALCO is honored to partner with TRWD - Tarrant Regional Water District, Freese and Nichols, Inc., Pronghorn Flats, and Huitt-Zollars to deliver this project. We look forward to seeing this campus take shape over the next two years!

One of our favorite traditions is back!

Our team recently spent the day partnering with 6 Stones for their annual Community Powered Revitalization. Together, we rolled up our sleeves to refresh the exterior of a local home—helping restore a sense of pride for a homeowner facing maintenance challenges.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to serve the community where we live and work.
